Matter Integration Troubleshooting
The Smart Controller is not appearing as a nearby accessory
Ensure your Smart Controller is powered on, connected to the internet, and that your device is connected to the Wi-Fi with the same SSID name as the Smart Controller. For more information, visit the Matter page in the Neo Smart Blinds app (Menu > Integrations > Apple Home via Matter > Access Matter Codes).
The integration fails after tapping on the nearby Smart Controller
Repeat all the steps until you reach the step to Select an Accessory. Instead of selecting the nearby Smart Controller, tap “My Accessory Isn’t Shown Here”, then choose "Enter Code...". Follow the in-app instructions or refer to our step-by-step guide for further assistance.
Integration Stuck or Unable to Proceed with Matter

This troubleshooting step applies only if you have already tried “The integration fails after tapping on the nearby Smart Controller” and you are certain that you pressed the “R” button on the Smart Controller at the start of the Matter integration, as instructed in the Neo Smart Blinds app (Menu > Integrations > Matter > Access Matter Codes > Step 2).

Only proceed if you are not integrating the same Smart Controller into a second Matter-enabled platform. Resetting the Matter fabric will stop the blinds from responding on the first platform.
In rare cases, a communication issue between the Smart Controller and platforms like Apple Home or Samsung SmartThings may cause the Matter integration to fail or become stuck. To resolve this, you’ll need to reset the Matter fabric by re-adding the Smart Controller to your Neo Smart Blinds account. Please follow the steps below in the exact order:
- Stop the Matter integration process by fully closing the Apple Home or Samsung SmartThings app.
- Press and hold the “S” button on the Smart Controller, then release it when the LED flashes yellow four times.
- Open the Neo Smart Blinds app.
- Navigate to Menu > Smart Controllers. Do not delete your existing Smart Controller.
- Tap “Add Smart Controller”, follow the in-app instructions, enter your Wi-Fi credentials, and complete the setup.
- Wait for the Smart Controller to reconnect and come online.
- Restart the Matter integration process by reopening your Apple Home or SmartThings app and initiating the Matter pairing again.
