How to connect to Alexa

How to connect to Alexa

Connect your Smart Controller to your Amazon Echo, Echo Dot, or Echo Show to control your blinds with simple voice commands via Alexa. This feature requires the Amazon Alexa app on your device and an active Amazon account. To set this up, please follow the steps outlined below.

Our Amazon Alexa Skill is available in English (US, CA, GB, AU), French (CA, FR), Italian (IT) and Spanish (MX, US). For a complete list of direct links for each locale, please see this article.
We strongly recommend not skipping step 1 as it lays the foundation for the setup process.

Prepare your Neo Smart Blinds account

Open the Neo Smart Blinds app on your device and:

  • Ensure all your Smart Controllers and Wi-Fi blinds are online.
  • Rename any room and scene in the Neo Smart Blinds app so that it does not match the names of other devices already present in the Alexa app.

Access Skills & Games

Open the Amazon Alexa app on your device and tap on the menu located in the upper left corner. Then, tap on "Skills & Games".

Discover devices

To discover devices, use the voice command "Alexa, discover devices". Since Amazon Alexa does not have a category Blinds, all your blinds will only be listed under the “All Devices” section of the Alexa app.

Scenes in the Smart Controller app will be also imported to the Alexa app.
